who ever has the game already obtains these files. Sounds haven't been altered.

Redistributing anything you don't have the rights to without permission can potentially get you in trouble, even if you mean well. It happens all the time on the internet but that doesn't mean it's legal. Not on me to decide over though so do what you want...

There's also the question why upload this if the game is on Steam that easily downloads those files again. I don't see the point.

And regardless, you also need to read the RadeDepartment ToS.

Posts, attachments, uploads or links which contain original game files are not allowed.

I apologize for my mistake. I have not seen the rules so far.

But one thing: The sound files are not replaced by Steam! I dont know why.

They are, if you delete the modded sound file and the guid.txt file and then run an integrity check

Hm. You tried this, right? Steam library > right click on game > Properties > Local Files tab > Verify integrity of game files. If that doesn't work then that's really weird. Only works for original game files of course.

Ya really Given that it works correctly, Steam integrity check - like @Epistolarius described - replaces files where the checksum is wrong and also missing files. I did this countless times across multiple games.

Deleted because we cannot re-distribute original files.

Also as stated above (correctly), Steam will replace any broken or missing files when you verify your game cache. This generally removes all mods too.
