Welcome to the RD Assetto Corsa Racing Club. It's the holiday season, so with fewer drivers the chance to try out new circuits. Well, not exactly a new track this week. On the contrary, we go back in time to 1967 at the Silverstone circuit. But as far as I know, we've never done that with GT3s. The 1967 layout is shorter and much faster than today, so will it be Lambo time? Let's find out and sign up!

I'm sorely tempted by these combos, but again it is the lateness that is putting me off. Could that be why you are not getting good levels of participation I wonder? Have you thought about trying it 30 mins earlier?

Thanks. I've corrected it. And the time, well we have also participants in other timezones were it will be too early. But I can shorten the practice time from 75min to 60 min. I don't think that that will be a problem.

I'd be willing to entertain that. For me it is also a matter of having too much adrenaline that late that then gives me sleeping problems. But I'll happily give it a go so please add me.

Hi Fulvio,

I've chosen this one with short laptimes because we have probably not much participants in this period.
On Feldbergring or any other long track the changes are that everyone will have a lonely race.
And yes there aren't many corners but slipstreaming will be very important here so the exits are crucial. But I understand that with your pace you will have a boring race. If you like, I can spice it up for you by giving you a BOP of 30 or 50kg .

Interesting comment, not unusual to occasionally hear that, me too.
I found that the more I raced , stress , adrenaline and sleepless nights are not so much of a problem anymore.
Sleepless nights seem to come and go with no rhyme or reason attached to them.

Silverstone 67 makes for an exciting race and challenging course.
Very fast like black cat , easy to set the car up, wide track so that Rotter Fulvio and Co can overtake easily, alway someone to race.
What’s not to like.
I don’t fancy setting up a car that takes 10 minutes for one setup change.

I'm probably gonna miss the race
If it's okay, I'd like to stay signed up in case I'm home earlier than expected!
A kitesurf buddy asked me if he could pick me up for a session together, the forecasts changed over night
Can't say no to that offer during this heat!
No wind in weeks and no wind on any forecast apart, from today's late afternoon.

But maybe I'll be home for the end of qualy! And I'd very much like to race with you all

I'm going to have to skip this race, sorry. I can bare dry heat but humidity does me in. Once it's dropped 10 degrees I should be alright. shame as I really love the historic version of Silverstone.

Take the mclaren. Should be fun when you're slower on the straights than anyone else but with lots of grip for the corners.
So you don't run alone at the front but can dance around the other cars through the corners and try to get past anyway
