Yes, because when setting up the server in pickup mode we have to allocate the cars to the pitboxes when launching the server.

I have been loving single player for sometime now, this will be my first multiplayer session (barring an emergency at the hospital (I'm on call, please forgive if I'm a now show, that would be the reason)).

I play no assists in single player, fun for driving, not sure for racing. What do we do in mp?
Also, I don't have teamspeak. Is it necessary, or can I race quietly?

I think auto clutch is allowed and abs and tc is set to factory witch means in a gt3 you have them available to use.You don't have to be on ts but but it does add to the fun and makes exchanging information easy too.

also I would like to add I haven't had a mic in the past 3-4 races I just joined too, but I use team speak just to hear if something happens and listen for tips but during a race everyone gets pretty quiet so its not distracting...

In MP we use factory assists in almost every race, so we heave TC and ABS allowed for today.

Teamspeak isn't mandatory, but HIGHLY reccommended, as we can give advice and warnings on what is happening though the race. If it gets distracting, you can always assign a mute button. It also has a very friendly atmosphere!
