GTL on 16x9 screen

I have a 16x9 monitor ,but can't get GTL looking nice it is al stretch out,is there a way to do that properly? or using Box mode?

Suggestions are very welcome,

The HUD elements are stretched wide, all other things are correct. If you want a more realistic view of the track you might adjust the default FOV (mainly for 4:3 resolutions) to your likings (~72-80°).

Run Configure GT Legends from the start menu and change the resolution to one which is 16:9 in ratio such as 1680x1050.
