Gtr multiplayer

hi, i started again playing Gtr, but i entered in multiplayer and there is not much people playing...
is the any reason or people dont play this game anymore..
i tried assetocorse but gtr is way better..

As written in GTR2 10th Ann. Patch readme at ONLINE INFORMATION, official GTR2 online servers are closed now so if you wanna play online :
- fresh GTR2 INSTALL (STEAM OR DISC)
- install GTR2 10th Ann. Patch
- join a GTR2 League (the only ones I know now are the german koelschbierbude/festbierbude, all others have been closed for GTR2)
- install GTR2 LEAGUE FILE UPDATER
- Now you can join their servers and play multiplayer

Sadly GTR2 is too old and there is no multiplayer here at RD
