GTR2 mods in work by BorekS and deep-strike

Hi to all,
just to let you know, we still are creating and releasing new mods for old SimBin and ISI games

unfortunately I have to inform you that Carsten aka deep-strike, the main physics and sound stuff related person of all our car add-ons, passed away on 4. january 2019.

Actual 2017 releases:

Le Mans Classics mod 1.0 - released for GT Legends, GTR 2 and Power&Glory, see current dowload section.
A historic Le Mans multi car add-on presenting various late 60s * early 70s sports cars.
F1 Legends Racing 2.0 - released for GT Legends, GTR2, rFactor and AMS, see current dowload section.
A historic 1967 Grand Prix themed multi car add-on including10 car types, lets put a few preview images:

Good news, the F1 legends mods is excellent, I have the GT Legends version so look forward to the update and moving it onto GTR 2.
Will the Le Man's mod fit in with P & G?

relating to Le Mans Classisc (LMC) mod we got official allowement by David Wright to addapt our mod for P&G, yet GTLW team offered various levels of support / help.

the main problem is a proper (wet) tire physics development, which is very time consuming part of our GTR2 modding. our mods are primary designed for GT Legends, which is about dry weather racing only.

a few weeks back we decided to prepare for users the LMC for GTR2 as a dry tire racing at least. such version should be later available at Festbierbude site as its P&G mod addaptation.

I am not entirely sure now, but here isnt a GT Legends section where I could announce such kind of releases

it can be a shame, because our mods for GTR2 coming public sometimes just much more later.

EDIT: Ive found the GT Legends thread

well, what I can reveal is I am porting the LMC 1.0 and mainly the F1LR 2.0 into rFactor and Race07 / Race Injection mods aswell, but this will take a lot of time yet.

ok, a holy threesome of F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 mod for rFactor, GT Legends and GTR 2 is packed and out in its latest release build 2.0.2.

main changelog:

revised talent files (driver profile skills)
revised car sound settings
revised car physics / AI
revised DDS texture file format

the rFactor and GTR2 mod is available at current RD download section, but from some reason the GTR2 updatet version isnt visible there. so I would reccomend to check our F1 LEGENDS RACING mod home site, which I cant put here as a link because of the forum rules.

ok, having some another kin of news for GTR2 game fans...

just announcing the Le Mans Classics mod official GTL -> GTR2 conversion is done and released at our notoriously known own mod stuff homesite

in a few days, aftter public testing, the mod should be uploaded here on RACEDEPARTMENT aswell.

note: this mod version is designed for GTR2 dry tire racing only. the wet tire set will come later as a mod update.

this GTR2 LMC mod version (current build is 1.0.1) should be also the startup source for Power and Glory mod variant, so like for the later rFactor and Automobilista released.
