I have finished to update all the skins (most were made in 2016) and I have also reworked fonts : especially the brand new dot matrix. To celebrate the 14th anniversary of GTR2 there will be 14 different HUD skins available in 10 languages in next v14.2

Voted HQ Pro since I love the Motec Style but I would really love one with white letters/numbers at the top, in a more transparent box. Forza motorsport 3 and 4 had really nice hud!

I like PnG (I like minimal, less arcade style graphics) but I also use the PnG speedo/gear widget in the bottom right.

One thing I'd change with PnG is remove the white borders on the top-left/right boxes make it look more like HQ 10A MK3 (only no borders, and use HQ 10A MK3 background translucency, everything else would stay the same).

Great work on the HUDs, btw.

Too bad there's no more variety in style.

Any chance of porting Race 07 HUDs?

sadly white numbers are not possible, neither modifying the position of the different elements because it is hard coded in GTR2.exe
Fully transparent is not recommended for numbers because you will see ugly edges...as in actual 14.1 10thAnn hud : that's why I have added dark background in mk3/4 versions.
The minimum backgrounds I can set is...the MINI anniversary version : if you prefer I can set these mini backgrounds boards for all versions ?

I'd be a bad customer for you about Hud, Paul !
For GTR2 .... as I only drive offline ( like most of us with GTR2 ) and mostly older sports or proto cars using H-shifter and clutch .... my prefered hud is ........

Empy, nothing, nada, no hud at all .... always in cockpit view and very often using the dash instruments.
H-Shifter tells me easily the gear I'm in so .... even the gear number is not useful.

NB: No hud at all is mostly not used online for newer sims .... except the ones allowing a toggle-hud assignment or if Crew Chief is possible for it
That's why I really appreciate Crew Chief for many sims .... Hud is not mandatory and its spotter is surely the best one.

@ Jempy you left out the biggest aid far used ........virtual mirrors which somehow many IR's and 3 screeners defend

Huds are invaluable testing and cycling ai real time

This is great thanks.

It occurred to me why I like the PnG style today: It's colour scheme and look sort of lines up with the XD Motec/Session/Standings colour scheme and look.
