Has anyone experienced the AI spinning them out from behind?

Yes.
The situation where that's happened seemed to be a retaliation move for me being a bit pushy and rubbing the AI while passing. Watching the replay, it looked like the AI intentionally hunted me down and did a PIT maneuver to take me out when a clear pass was possible. This was not like in AC, where the AI will ignore your presence if they're trapped on the wrong side of the racing line, as in this case the AI was already on the racing line and I was outside of it.

It happens quite a bit in the Esses at Suzuka.
I typically try to start at the back of the field because of it.

It happened to me at Kyalami as well. Since the last update the A.i is pretty crap i have to say their just mobile chicanes that never overtake each other (no matter the track or aggression levels) and just run nose to tail the entire race. I hope they fix this as its very boring they were better in the previous update

Yeah, I have been running Raceroom latley. AI seems much better. Passing each other, spinning out, back ends come loose etc.
