Having hard time opening my created track.. Please help!!??

so my brother has modeled our local track Summit Point Motorsports Park the Shenandoah Layout..he used Bobs track builder for modeling and exported for rFactor 2.. we found various tutorials on adding the mod to Dev mode but they all tell us to use gJED which we cannot find a download for.. another is we followed the instructions from this video
for the folder structure and the game tries to load but it gives me a gmotor 2 error cannot load GMT file to memory.. another problem my brother was having was that the track would finish loading but crash the game as soon as it was done..

if anyone has any ideas of what we are doing wrong please let us know.. we are desperate..
most of tutorials that we find are for older versions of rFactor 2 i dont know if things have now changed...

thank you in advance for your time.

gJED isn’t supported any more and is removed.
Last working version is in build 1108. So you need the shader.mas from build 1108 and gJED from build 1108. And refer to the 1108 shader.mas in gJED.

You can use this loading screen to debug loading the track.
If it’s just 1 gmt file: you can qoute out certain gmt’s in the scene file by adding “//“ infront. So you can find the culprit.

A checklist:
