Helmet 3D view/models for show-off

Hi guys
I've been trying to find out how to make my helmet in 3D model so i can show off or make picture of it and put it as avatar etc

I see various of photos from 3D helmet models but i cannot find nor a program nor any solution whatsoever from where i should begin with or how long is that process or how complicated is, nothing at all!!!

Therefore i create this thread hoping more experienced people when it comes to modding, will step up and give me some hints how can i do it.
