Tracks [HELP REQUEST] Error "CANNOT HAVE 0 CARS IN RACE.INI" after adding extra pits and starter spots to track

Greetings, I am in a bit of a pickle. I decided to increase the amount of grid spots on ACF's Diepholz DTM track for personal use to have a bit bigger grids. I first converted the .kn5 to FBX using the knconverter, and then used Blender to add the extra spots. The extra spots are all named properly. (Circled in the image)

I then imported the FBX to the ksEditor, and saved it as .kn5. I did not edit anything in the ksEditor. Upon launching the game afterwards I get the following error:

The .kn5 has the same name as the previous .kn5 folder with the only changes being the extra pitbox and start spot objects and the ui.json file being edited to account for the extra spots. the "models_layout84-87.ini" file which apparently causes the problem can not be deleted due to the presence of other layouts in the track.

I will paste the log file in a second message.

Help would be appreciated. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

you probably messed up the kn5. I find it easier to add pit boxes in 3DSimED where it's only a matter of cloning another object and setting the coordinates. 3DSimED lets you import and export kn5 files directly.

The pit_lane.ai needs to be re-done - the cars are passing the stationary cars on the wrong side. Since there's no separate mesh for the pit lane following the naming conventions (1PIT), there's no automatic pit limiter and most importantly, no ghosting in the pits, which leads to... carnage.
