Help - Simulaje F1S

Good Day fellas,

Unsure how to explain this, but will try my best. Had an issue with my Simulaje F1S wheel recently. If i need to click on a button, i will need to click twice to activate it, and twice to deactivate it. For eg. on the RSS Formula 23, to upshift i need to double click to get to Gear 1. i went to windows "set up USB controllers" and saw that the wheel is registering a double click to function. On AC Content Manager, it is also showing the same, whenever i click on a button, it will be activated and lighted up until i press again to deactivate the button.

I am mostly on Assetto Corsa, using the content manager. unsure if this is hardware issue or software issue, hoping some peeps here might have a clue on how i can fix this.
