when i start a new track its fine then i go and select undo about anything and the track disappears from my top view, but is still in the 3d view, i click show all everything n it wont come back on my top view

Sounds like a bug. Sorry I can't be more help, but that sure sounds what it could be: some inherent error... Or perhaps gfx driver problems. Perhaps try it on a different system version?
