As far as I know and read about it (didn't go for the lc in the end), the loadcell package already comes with a USB adapter!
So loadcell Edition of the csl pedals = directly into the pc via usb
Only the 2 pedals edition = USB adapter needed.

This is correct. You get the LC package as a separate box and have to switch out the electronic control unit on the pedal base for the new LC one, which has a USB connection built in. You should be good to go with what comes in the box.
