High end wheel with fanatec base

ok so I really want a really nice high end wheel with build in lcd screen etc but running fanatec base and waiting on my new podium dd1 to show up. Does anyone have a work around for using a nice aftermarket wheel or would I be better off going to a OSW base and if I do that will all my other fanatec components work with it. Really looking at a speed max or racing cub wheel but nobody makes a fanatec compatible wheel

If you want that kind of wheel you would probably be better off getting away from the Fanatec ecosystem. You could do it but you would need to use their universal hub and adapt your nice new wheel to mount to the hub.

As for your existing Fanatec wheels, some of them can be adapted to use a usb port with the various adapters available but the newest ones seem to use some sort of algorithm to prevent even that from working.
