Kunos Simulazioni to release small PlayStation 4 Assetto Corsa update today in preparation for deployment of private lobbies functionality.
Today Kunos Simulazioni have revealed a small update to Assetto Corsa, labelled build 1.13, will be released for the PlayStation 4 version of the title. Although the new update should not make a visable difference to the gaming experience, Kunos have confirmed the "localization issue" fix will be completed prior to the build 1.14 release due to contain the much anticipiated inclusion of both private lobbies and the free Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 and Highlands track, as released recently for PC owners of the game.
No new 1.13 update has been confirmed for Xbox One players, and no further details as to when the 1.14 and private lobby build will be deployed.
In something of a positive week for Assetto Corsa console gamers, build 1.13 comes hot on the heels of the recent game update and Porsche Volume III DLC release back on Monday 13th, the first time we have seen updates so closely spaced with regards to the console version of the title. It will no doubt come as a great relief to many of the army of console AC players to see that the missing private lobby feature has now been addressed and confirmed as coming to the sim, however it is rather unfortunate that Kunos and 505 Games are unable to offer at least an indication of when we can expect to get our hands on the new functionality.
All good things come to those who wait...
