Hotlap times for steam friends not showing

This used to work, but hotlap times of same car-track combo (both stock) of Steam friends are not showing with the in-game leaderboard app. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, not sure.

Posted in the bug report section of Kunos site, but just wondered if anyone here had come across this before?.
