How can I join my own multiplayer session?

Hi
I figured out how to set-up a multiplayer lobby with the dedicated server tool but how can I join my own multiplayer session? I can either run the server tool or the game but I can not run both of them at the same time.

Any idea is welcome,thanks in advance.

You need to run them separately - if your game is on Steam, you can download the non-Steam version from our site, update it using GSC Sync, and run the server tool from there (it doesn't require a key). Then you can run the game from Steam.

And also open ports in a router to allow and host a dedicated server so people can join server from the lobby ?
Or does GSC works like Pcars that drivers can host a lobby server with no need open up ports in the router.
