Is there any way to change the color of breaking markers?

Yes, you can do this. If you use EGO erp archiver. Navigate to your games install directory and game assets. Each track has it's own folder. open the erp file for the track you are working on and look for the marker board textures. Once located you can export it and modify as you see fit. Once done import it replacing the original save your changes and you should be all set.
