F1 2011 how come AI don't pit

just have a question that maybe some1 can answer, how come on career mode in f1 2011 o a couple of races other drivers havnt pitted in a 20% race with full rules and fags and when i get told by my crew i have to pit ?

This is a bug, Like in F1 2010 AI sometimes doesnt have to pit in these races or they have pitted and you didnt noticed.

I read somewhere in 2010 if you use flashbacks it messes up the AI pitting

This happens on short races. Never happened on 50% or 100% races.
