How do I create String Objects?

Okay, maybe a new thread is indeed a better idea.
I'd really like to create some string objects like guard rails, fences etc. but I don't know to what stuff I have to pay attention to, so that it works in BTB. I tried to make sobjects from things in another Xpack, but the guard rails don't line up:

So, any advice on how to do it right?
I don't want to use walls for guard rails etc. I want to have them a bit more detailed.

I did, but it doesn't work perfectly, it also doesn't work with every object (gaps/clipping), it's just not the same as a correct working sobject. But again, I'd like to know how to avoid this, when building my own stuff.

Make sure the objects in Sketchup are straight.

For the problem with gaps or overlapping, select the object and select either 'Curve with spline' or 'Can stretch'. Maybe both. It'll create a bit of distortion but it'll only be apparent in some circumstances.

So, I just have to be sure that the objects is parallel to either the Z or X axis (and of course centered)? I tried the curve and stretch options, but I couldn't get it to look right.

Anyway, thanks, I'll just try it out and see if it works. :)
