how do i make car objects transparent

Hi again, i was trying to change the dashboard in a f1 car to another one but i noticed that the texture of the object wasn't transparent like the car i was taking the part of
Edit: Also, i didn't show it but the "Flags" session when i select the name does not have "Transparent",only "Visible". While in the "Donator car" it haves the "Flag: Visible, Transparent"
