Cars How to calculate fuel consumption

The formula for fuel consumption is
(rpm*gas*CONSUMPTION)/1000 litres

My car consumes 6,4 litres per 100km. It revs to 6400. What should I do?
 
Drive it for 20 km and see how much fuel it uses, then multiply your CONSUMPTION value by: 6.4/5/fuelUsed.

There's no other effective way unless it's a car racing in a series with regulated fuel flow (e.g. F1 or LMP1).
