How to change start order on 2 lap races

Is there a way to change the starting grid, I'm always in last position?

For a quick race ... you may do as you like and choose the starting position on grid ... using the "Starting Position" button in the main session options screen where you choose Time of day, weather, ambient temperature, etc ...

But not in a Race Weekend as there's a minimum 5 minutes qualifying session.... if you have the worst laptime, you'll always remain last on grid ( except if you make the AI strength lower ).
