How to change the tailight color with a skin ?

Hey guys,

A few years ago I created a skin on the M3 E92 and I was able to "tint" the tailight, they are almost black, and all the car is black, the wheels too, alright it's a bit ricer lol but I like this kind of style.
I have a "car_light2" file into my skin folder that I modified to create this skin but now, I want to create a skin like this one for the BMW 1M but I don't know where I can't find the "car_light" file to modify it, or if there is another way to tint the taillight

I believe content manager lets you see the texture that is being used. Save and modify that
There are other ways, but I'm not sure how legal that is.
