How to install setups for Game Stock Car

Save the *.svm setup file to various track folders - ie:
x:\gamename\userdata\username\trackname

TYPICAL INSTALLATION:
C:\Program Files\GSC\Userdata\YOUR NAME\Settings\TRACK NAME (various)
C:\Program Files (x86)\GSC\Userdata\YOUR NAME\Settings\TRACK NAME (various)

EXAMPLE - my install location:
E:\games\GSC\Userdata\Troy\Settings\TRACK NAME (various)

E:\games\GSC\USERDATA\Troy\Settings\Brasilia
E:\games\GSC\USERDATA\Troy\Settings\Brasilia\Troy_Brasilia_Qualify.svm
E:\games\GSC\USERDATA\Troy\Settings\Brasilia\Troy_Brasilia_Race.svm

Is it possible to install setups into the demo? I am going to be buying the game soon, but I was hoping to install some setups into the demo tracks and they don't seem to work, even following the directions posted above.

I have successfully downloaded and installed several add-on tracks for GSCE. I have also removed (deleted) several tracks that came with the game - tracks that I know I'll never race on. My question is this: How do I get rid of the unwanted setup/settings folders for the tracks I have deleted? The sheer number of settings folders (for every track and every variation of every track) are overwhelming. I would like to winnow the number of folders down to the ones pertinent to the tracks I use, but when I delete them, they reappear when I restart the game. In rFactor, the folders were generated by their inclusion in the .gdb files, so once the track folder (and all its files, including the .gdb files) was deleted, the settings folder no longer appeared in the settings list. Are the settings folders stored (or listed) somewhere other than in the track folders, and if so, where?
