F1 2013 How to install?

My computer can't recognise the CD. What could I do?

I don't know what exactly do you mean by can't recognize it, but try the CD on a different computer. If it doesn't work, return the CD to the shop and get a new one.

It could be your hardware. Try putting a different disc inside.

Redeem the key on Steam, download it off of Steam. Unless your connection has limited traffic / is slow that should be the best solution.

Υοu are probably right. F1 2012 and FIFA 11, have the same problem. Thanks anyway.

Tom is correct. You will have to add you game to Steam anyway.

So why not do it now?

Run Steam > Games Menu > Activate a Product on Steam

Now it will download and install. No need for the DVD ( it's not a CD ) after that.

If the slow down is at your end, there nothing you can do about it.

If it's a Steam problem, you can change the download server location. I have done this before when the UK servers were busy. I pick a server in a part of the world that is asleep, or having breakfast

Steam > Steam Menu > Settings > Downloads Tab > Download Region

It is a general problem at my village, they are fixing something and the speeds are quite slow. They expect it to be fixed by Thursday Thanks anyway
