How to make a carskin ?

Good affternoon
I would like to learn make car skins for automobilista. I am a nobody. can anyone tell me step by step ...

What Do I Need .. photoshop? Gimp? I use Windows 10 64 bit
any help is welcome

You will need Photoshop or GIMP (maybe other options but those is all I know if) and the Nvidia DDS plugin for which ever program you are using (google it)

Its simple to get a skin working in game but can be a painstaking job to get an awesome skin made.
