How to make headlights brighter?

Recently I've found my cars' headlights to often be not bright enough. I'm not sure yet if this is all cars or just some, but the problem is making some tracks difficult to drive at night. I didn't have this problem before - I noticed it in recent weeks only.

Can anyone help? Is there a setting in CSP or Sol config?

Thanks, BrightCandle, for your lighting advice :)

It helps. I've upped brightness under Lighting FX but it doesn't seem to fix the problem as much as I'd hope. There's a problem with how far ahead of the ar the headlights' light is cast - it doesn't seem to be far enough ahead.

As in real life, light needs something to bounce off of to see them. If the track is wide open (ie. turns 1-2-3 at Valleunga) you won't see much no matter how bright they are.

I think there is a setting in the Sol Config app in game to adjust the brightness level for night time. I can't remember exactly what tab / setting. That might help visibility? Not exactly what you asked about but might have a bearing.
Thanks for the tip. I'm trying to increase headlight brightness for particular cars. Most cars I use give headlight brightness that is fine but some cars (eg Porsche GT America, from IER) doesn't seem to light up the road ahead enough to drive much at night.

first one is with ext_config and the second one is ext_config off
Generally I use a CSP code for headlights like
Code:
[INCLUDE]
INCLUDE=common/no_popup_lights.ini

[LIGHT_HEADLIGHT_...]
NAME=******,*********,********
ACT_AS_HEADLIGHTS=1
COLOR=1.12, 1.12, 1.1, 10
AFFECTS_TRACK=1
BOUND_EMISSIVE_MAX=300
BOUND_EXP=1.0
POSITION=-0.0, 0.37, 2.2
SPOT=36
SPOT_SHARPNESS=0.48
SPOT_UP=0.0499376, 0.0998752, -0.009
SECOND_SPOT=90
SECOND_SPOT_INTENSITY=0.5
SECOND_SPOT_RANGE=140
SECOND_SPOT_SHARPNESS=0.15
SECOND_SPOT_SKIP=0.3
SPECULAR_MULT=0.1

For "NAME=" you should put in the names of the objects that are emitting for headlights. Then in-game tweak the spots using the Sol's fog to see the volumetric of the beams as well.
