How to measure distance in Bobs Track Builder

I want to draw a track on a map, as background image.
It is simple, but how can I tell the program how much is 100 m? To make the track in 1:1 scale.

It is possible (?) to load a recorded track from GPS. I tried to open .kml, .gpx, . plt, .kmz, .csv files. None was opened.

You can make a new open ended track with just two points. The move node button gives you the ability to get and set each node's XYZ coordinates, so you can place them exactly 100m apart.

Not sure about GPS, but Google earth lets us draw paths and export them as kml files. They may be flat, in which case 3D Route Builder can add elevation.
