how to - no arms + locked steering wheel?

I would like to display the virtual steering wheel without drivers arms and lock it into place as to use the steering wheel display with cars that have no fixed dash but a display on the actual steering wheel.

Is this possible in rF2 (I couldn't find any settings in the options - maybe in some ini file) ?

What you see in options are the only choices, no difference from editing the player.json file in this case.

Thanks a lot! That is exactly what I was looking for!

Is this option only available in the option menu outside of an active session or can I still change this when I have entered a live multi player session (I tend to forget about setting such options before hand)?

Yes.

I think Fixed still has hands. You can have a moving steering wheel without hands.
