Hello Fellows!
First my system specs:
Lenovo Ideapad 700 Gameing Laptop
Processor:Intel i5 - 2.3 up to 3.2 MhzTurbo
GFX:Nvidia 950 M (mobile) 4 GB
Ram: 16 GB DDR-3
HD:250 GB Samsung SSD
System:Win 10 64 bit Home

So,by daylight i can have 18-20 visble AI Drivers.
In Night Race only max.10.Differs from track to track.
As a test i took Adelaid, from wich my Laptop suffers a bit in the corners by night....
Framerate drops to 50-54 fps when Ai crashes in corners.Only a night.
At start of the Race it is 60 FPS.
I have no problems by daytime with GFX at High - Mirrors on Shadows Medium,Blurr off ,8xAniosoptric Filter.AA set to 2x with 2X Supersample in Nvidia Driver.
V-Sync on ,Framrate set to 60,as the HZ of the TV.Res. 1920x1080.
Tryed to reduce GFX settings didn't make!Only reducing the visble AI/Drivers.

Is that right for my System or do i wrong in any way.?
Thanx
DC

Weird... Have you tried the lowest setting gfx? Turn AA off, make sure you have the latest drivers. The number of AI should be a CPU bound thing, at least that's what I've found in other sims. You could try setting the power management in windows to "performance" so the cpu will stay on clock but that's probably not going to do anything. You can change the GPU power managment in the Nvidia control panel to maximum performance as well, doing that does have "some" effect on stutter and smoothness. Unfortunately I would say it's time for an upgrade to a desktop that way in the future you can just replace parts as they become outdated.....

Ok found this on Reiza forums seems to be the same problem your having. https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/fps-drops-during-night-lighting.53/
