How to revert/limit time selection?

Before installing Custom Shaders Patch, you could only select the time of the race from morning to afternoon (I don't remember exactly the time). Now, the time selection covers all 24 h. Is there a way to revert this to the old behaviour and still keep the Custom Shaders Patch? In that case, would Sol jump from afternoon to morning when evening time is reached or when I fast forward time?

I don't know what the word means but this time diapason setting controls it (leaving it empty used to mean 8am-6pm, now I think it's 24 hours)

Expected behaviour would be it just runs 24 hours if you let the session last that long.
