How to run a single type championship in a single class with 2 types of cars

Was wanting to run an offline championship using the Formula trainers from the brit pack, but this has both the entry and advanced vehicles and I can't quite separate them when starting this championship so I end up with mixed vehicles.
This issue happens throughout I since learned as also with the historic formula cars it mixes both 67 and 69 era cars assuming I remember those correctly.
I guess I could run them mixed but that wouldn't feel quite correct to me.

Any solution to this?

The short answer is to first back up the REIZA25.srs file in the ...steamapps\common\Automobilista\Series folder, then open the original in a text editor.

Find this line:

Code:

Vehicle Filter = |F_TrainerA F_TrainerB

and delete either "F_TrainerA" or "F_TrainerB".

You can do the same for any class that has multiple cars. REIZA14.srs is Formula Vintage.
