How to turn off echo/rebound sound of walls and objects

Currently using GT3 series mod and loving it. Sounds are fine, however when driving next to some walls I get this horrible rebound or echo of the engine sound. I hate it and was wondering if there is a way to remove this from the game. Really spoils the sounds.

IIRC there's something in the player.JSON file relating to this, open it up and search for Reverb and i think you'll find it.

Looked in that file and there is reverb volume, distance and decay. Will play around with these.
