F1 2010 HRT dumped me

So I started a 7 year season with HRT hoping to drive for them for the full 7 years, signed a 1 year contract late in the first year, at that time I was 8th or so in the standings and had meet the teams objectives...

Second season went even better, with 3 races remaining I was in 4th place had meet all the teams objectives and was waiting to sign a new long term contract with HRT but I got dumped, so I signed with Force India...

so for future reference my question is, should I have signed long term the first year or was I just too darn good for the team...

the brutal truth is, no matter what you do, they will dump you, no matter what standings etc. you can win the championship and the game is going to force switch teams :]

that's not necessarily true, if you have the reputation points required for that team, meet their objectives and say the right things to the press, your current team will offer you a contract.

but there are no long term contracts in game, you'll only ever get 1 year offers...

I had assumed I could get a long term deal and build a team into a dynasty but it's all good...
