have just ordered the deluxe audio strap for our htc vive, has anybody used them ?. Can you get virtual surround sound or do you need to download sofware. Any members experiences with be much appreciated.

It supports positional audio by default which is what you want in VR.

I have the deluxe audio strap. The sound does track your change of position when you move your head. I wouldn't says it's any different than a decent pair of stereo headphones though.
