I can't re-install rFactor 2

I uninstalled the game because it couldn't update due to a privilege missing error. I'm on Steam. When I try to re-install I get the same "rFactor2 Dedicated.exe" missing privilege error. I don't know what is wrong. I bought the game years ago but not the online feature. Can someone help me?

I don't recognize the problem but the message seems to indicate some kind of permission issue. Are you trying to reinstall it in the same location? If so, you could try a different one to establish if that was indeed the issue, then try repairing permissions.
