I didn't know it snowed at Highlands track

Is the current time of year reflected in the sim time ? I went racing at the Highlands track and was surprised with snow on the ground and in the mountains. I must say I was pretty impressed.

Northern hemisphere vs southern..?

I've been having similar issues with Sol, probably I'm missing a setting somewhere, haven't looked too hard, I have to adjust the date manually to July or else the weather is winter.
Might try harder to figure this out someday, noticed lots of similar issues being reported lately.

Try setting the date to April, May etc and turning seasons off. Also, if you havent seen it, I highly recommend the track mod for Highlands that turn the scape into lush green settings, re textured hills etc.

Yeah, it's summer in the southern hemisphere now.

A quick google indicates that sunset is at 21:23 today. Looked at a webcam as well and it's a typical summer's day, and the mountains are clean with no sign of snow.

It shouldn't be snowing this time of year since it's very much summer in New Zealand now. So, if the current time of year is set correctly, it must be a bug.
You do know that the official assetto corsa highlands is a fantasy track based on the Scottish highlands? :p
There's a real track in New Zealand though and a mod track of it.
Thought I'd try to clear up some confusion...

I haven't had the use of my wheel and pedals for about a month and a half, as I needed new pots, which were replaced with Hall effect sensors instead, so should last quite awhile now. So when I fired it up it had snowed much to my surprise. So glad it didn't snow on the track, or the plows had been very effective. Plus I noticed it said 30C on the side. I thought I had theseetiings in AC for imperial units, so I'm not sure why it isn't in Fahrenheit. Plus it was set at 1600 hours and the setting sun effects were amazing. Definately magic hour not only for Photography, but racing as well !

Yeah ok I understand, I'm in Australia, so it's summer now for me but appears to be winter if seasonal adjustments is checked in settings as it's January/winter in the northern hemisphere.
I must test tracks based on locality.
I think I noticed not all tracks work with seasonal adjustments?
Must check again later on.
