I NEED HELP NEW PLAYER ASSETTO CORSA MOD PROBLEMS

I have tried downloading mods for Assetto Corsa, tracks have been working fine. I have downloaded WinRaR and have content manager. for all the cars I download I try to play in content manager it says skins not found and it doesn't work. All cars are from here RACEDEPARTMENT.

Im pretty sure 7-zip is what is recommended. Anyone?

EDIT: Actually I think ive seen people recommend against winrar.

WinRAR is fine. Best practice is to extract the downloaded archives somewhere and then copy the folders into the Assetto Corsa folder, so you don't accidentially create two subfolders for the car.

The path is Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\[mod name]\ and then the car's files and the subfolders like skins, sfx, ui, etc in there. The files and subfolders may be somewhat different from car to car.

Skins are in the "skins" subfolder in the car folder. Each skin has its own subfolder with the files in it.

Best check the folder structure to make sure everything is in the right spot.
