It has come to our attention that the RCD files cause issues on the server.

We will NOT use the virtual team feature for the first or second rounds!!

You will be sending your skin files and helmet files to:
villeneuve53@msn.com
or
david53@grecodavid.com

In the SUBJECT line of your email put "Division - Team"
Example: World Championship - Avid Chronic Racing

Each team will need 2 car liveries and 2 helmet liveries (optional)

ONLY TEAM OWNERS SHOULD SEND IN LIVERIES!!!

World Championship
WC teams are due ASAP! We will be including these in a mod update before round 1!!!

ACE/PRO
Liveries are due before round 3.
We will use Skin Transfers for ACE and PRO for Rounds 1 and 2.
Liveries that are in by Friday April 3rd will be included in the mod.

DO NOT USE VIRTUAL TEAMS!!!

Delete all *.rcd files from your player/settings/FSR_2015 folder!!

Anyone joining an official race with a virtual team will get a RACE BAN. This is extremely important issue that can cause lag and people not to join!!!

If you know how to setup the *.veh file this would help the process move along.

Can we totally ignore this topic? http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/2015-liveries-virtual-teams-feature.102703/ . Or is it usefull for some step? I didn't edit any file and I didn't change any rF2 option using that topic; am I ok? Thanks.

By the way, it seems it's not possible to see pictures from ACR website for external users.

Actually ACE/PRO drivers can follow it up to step 7.

1) Start up rFactor 2.
2) Select a series/car
3) Click tuning below the car, I chose the FR3.5 Car #2
4) Click Create Dir
5) Alt-tab out of rF2. Use Windows Explorer to go to your rF2 folder. Go toUserData/player/Settings/ISI_FormulaRenault35_2014/[chosen car].
My location looks like this:
UserData/player/Settings/ISI_FormulaRenault35_2014/FR35_2014_2

6) Place your car livery in this folder. Name it "alt[yourname].dds"
7) Back in rF2, click Reload, then click the Variants arrows to go from base livery > alt > alt[yourname]. You should see the livery change.]

DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER!

This seems rather complicated compared to last season. I know its alot of work but we now relying on every driver to get this right. I mean quite a few drivers couldn't even edit there player files correctly last season and got tons of warnings if I remember correctly.

Don't really wanting to be going into the first race of the season with major problems like lag due to someone not getting it right because we only have 5 days to go.

This is to show your livery up until the 3rd race. Just don't join with a virtual team. Its really alot more easy than it sounds.
We can tell who joins and kick them if necessary.

Best policy is to delete your RCD files. You should NOT join with a "Kris' Virtual Ride" or whatever your name is.

Ya time is the problem. We will not receive all ACE/Pro skins in time and than still have enough time to build the mod. And this all before Saturday. This wouldnt work

You need a dds file of your car. BTW NB Max size about 5,462kb, any bigger file size and the in-game skin share wont handle it,so ensure you dont save it too big.
In tuning menu click create directory.
Exit the game
In User/player/settings/fsr2015 you will see that folder now you created.
It will have a file in in called alt.dds, ignore it.
put your dds in there. Name must be less than 10 characters and have alt. eg mine is altdor.dds
Go back into the game, in tuning menu you can select that skin,

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to delete all *.RCD files before you join server. Even if you don't join with a virtual team!!!

All skins sent in before Friday will be included in the mod. This includes ACE/PRO Teams.

We will still plan an update for Round 3 for the straglers.
