Installing content manager: 5 seconds slower?

Hi guys,

Last night I installed content manager as it seems you can't do without: more and more stuff requires this.
Had some problems way back in the day with it and remembered that, so I was very careful what I did.

Next to some graphics settings, I did nothing.
But now: the car I drove all week on the same track: I'm lapping 5 seconds slower!
I was 2 seconds faster than the AI, now 3 seconds slower than them. So, it shouldn't be the files of the car as AI does okay.
So I checked al kind of stuff, starting with the pedals: they work fine.
The car does reach the same speed but I can't remember where on the straights, so acceleration might be off?
It doesn't feel slower though.
Ow, I did change out the sound with another car! I can't see how this could affect the lap times, but I thought I'd mention it.

Tried without CM: also 5 seconds off the pace.
There are a lot of settings in the CM and I think I checked them all......

Does anyone have an idea where I should/could look?
I'm clueless at the moment......

Thanks in advance!

First thing I would look at is in DRIVE tab check the AI strength and aggression against what you were using before.

Check your pedals are 0% and 100% , if you have brake spiking there will be performance loss.

Also you may have overlooked Track condition, CM resets it to Green if I not mistaken.

Thanks for your responses guys!
I have to say: I didn't only check with the AI, the times themselves were 5 seconds slower too.

But: found it! :)
For some reason, when I clicked up- or down on the traction control, the mgu/kers/whatever electric thing (sorry, don't remember exact name) went up and down too(!)
I found out that behind the line saying TC going up, there was a very quick flash of another text........ So I clicked it a lot of times, saw what was going on, checked in CM and found out the buttons were assigned double.
That wasn't the case before and so I think CM messed it up somewhere.

Fixed now, thanks again guys!
