Installing mods

No matter what I do to install car mods into this game nothing works . I have tried everything that I have read in this forum and others and nothing. I can get the car to show on the car list in game but when I click on it to run it goes to the pace car . I even have a car showing on the car list in game but when I go to game file vehicle list that same car is no where to be found so I can delete it . Someone please help. Thank you

never had issue just with placing it into correct folder (../GameData/Vehicles/) ...

Are you sure you don`t have folders wrong? like mod being already in GameData/Vehicles folder and you are now creating GameData/Vehicles/GameData/Vehicles/ ?

What mod is it?
