Invalid account type specified

WTH?
Got email with a link to extend my premium upgrade expires tomorrow.
Click on the link leads to an Oops! We ran into some problems. Invalid account specified.. The 'Extend' link in my account details is not working either.
No help or explanation anywhere.
Any ideas anybody?

I got the same. Extending would be 10 euro but won't work

Best is to let it expire and upgrade directly after with the new Black Friday deal for registered users. We are trying to fix a little bug but so far it isn't cooperating

Sorry to bump an old thread @Bram Hengeveld, but I've just experienced this problem and I'm a couple of days from premium expiring, exactly the same error message.

Hi. We have phased out the current premium membership you are having. Best is to let it run out and purchase a new annual one that has a reduced pricetag. Sorry for any inconvenience.

No problem, just glad there's no issue with my account and I'll renew after the current one lapses. Are they otherwise the same apart from a price change?
