Is it just me?

I started up iRacing last evening to do a little practice in the 911 Cup car. Is it just me or did something change with the tires/grip with two recent patches?
The car seems way more stuck to the surface even on cold tires, I only did a few laps at Sebring, but I might actually be able to drive/tune/adjust the car now.

The last patch that came out for the Porsche 911 cup car really made a huge difference to the over the limit feel. If any one claims that this car cannot be controlled over the limit needs to give up sim racing completely. Another car which has become great with the very latest patch is the Renault 3.5.
