Is the Rift S available now?

Hi,

I thought that I’d share this in case anyone is waiting for stock....

I have just ordered an Oculus Rift S online at PC World Curry’s for delivery tomorrow.

Has anyone successfully ordered one recently as they’ve been out of stock everywhere for months?

I have received an order preparation email but I suppose I could still get an out of stock email yet...

Ill update this post when I know.

Ok so maybe my timing was lucky, it’s getting delivered today but now the website shows unavailable.

Ok so an update:
Received the Rift S at lunchtime today and set it up straight away.
The good:
Much clearer resolution
Comfortable device to wear
The bad:
Sound is non existent, I can hear myself breathe over it, maybe a fault?
Eye strain.... lots of eye strain...

result:
It’s going back as I just can’t seem to focus properly as if I’m wearing someone’s glasses and that really hurts my eyes. I tried for a couple of hours with DCS, iRacing and ACC but unfortunately I can’t seem to get on with it even though my IPD is around 66 (or so I thought)

It’s been collected and now I’m just waiting to see if I actually get my money back. I would have sold it but the sound was so quiet I though that maybe that was a fault and I don’t want to get into a bun fight with anyone about returning it to me!
