Issues with W10 and DFGT

So I have had this issue before but now my fix isnt working. So I changed USB ports for my DFGT and now it only recognizes as a Driving Force instead of the Driving Force GT. I used the Driver Cleaner program, have uninstalled and reinstalled Logitech Profiler (the correct version and 64 bit version). Really bummed because this is a big issue keeping me from racing the past few days. Any suggestions?

Windows are overwriting the correct drivers with a supposedly newer ones that sadly don't support older wheels correctly. It's mostly Logitech's fault, to be honest - they messed up their new drivers. And, to top it off, it's hard to tell you're using the new drivers, since they wisely decided to keep the version number the same as it was.

You should disable driver updates in Windows, but be aware of the fact that on certain larger system updates (like the recent Creators update), the drivers will still get overwritten.
