I've lost track... are skins supported yet?

I know there are ways to hack a skin into AMS2, but I'm looking for an official method of skinning the cars. Does it exist yet? Can they be assigned to AI?

Alas, no Lotus 23 skins there.

Has the feature been updated since Dec 31, 2020 so that additional cars can be added or are we still limited to the number of cars in game? (https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/ams2-user-livery-overrides.14819/)

I'm not sure as I've added a fair few custom skins but haven't gone mad with it so couldn't tell if there's a still a restriction on the amount of custom liveries you can have per car.
