KartCross_Pack - Modified versions of this KartCross made on the original "stereo" project, with his permission

With the consent of "stereo", which I thank, I wanted to create different versions and engines of this very funny KartCross, with the addition of race numbers for competitions.

These mods were made on the beautiful original "stereo" project, which is called "Honda CB750 Crosskart 1.0" and you can download it at this address:

Inside the file you will find the instructions to install the package...

Kart divertente, ma poi è successo questo:

Notare anche che le temperature dei pneumatici attualmente appaiono sempre bianche.
What kind of app do you use for tires?
Maybe it's that app that's not working?
I use 2 apps and tire temperatures and they are perfect, they both work.
I did a lot of test laps and I didn't even encounter the problem of the suspension coming off when climbing on the curb.
I would not want that non-original track where you are shooting maybe it is not well done ..
Try to ride inside an original kunos track and use the original tire app and see if the temperatures work and you no longer have problems with the suspension

Track was Brands Hatch (Kunos Dream Pack 3 DLC) on Indy layout, however it seems to happen sometimes on any track when you hit a bump/wall or steer hard enough at high speed.

I'm using the popular SideKick app to monitor tyre temps, which has shown the colors with every other car mod I've tried including the 30 I've hung onto.

Recreated the bug on Vallelunga (doesn't get any more original Kunos than that) and Kakucs Ring (custom kart track) for science and amusement:

It's still a fun vehicle to drive and sure as long as you drive clean it shouldn't happen, but wow :D

I shot this now at Brands Hatch, as you can see in the video everything works fine, the tire temperatures work very well and the suspensions do not come off.
try to uninstall the kart mod and reinstall.
This mod has been downloaded 330 times since I entered it and no one told me about the problem you are telling me, so let's try the reinstall and see if it solves your problem

The default tyre app does work, just this is the first mod I've come across that doesn't show temp colors on SideKick (downloaded 75,225 times). Have you got that app? It's replaces multiple ugly default apps with one that's sleek and compact.

I will try it tonight and then I will release a new version where I have improved the FFB, the tires and set-up

i tried the Sidekick APP, it works perfectly.
the blank data appears to me only when I brake because it shows me the pressure or wear of the tires.
i believe a reinstall of the mod can solve your problems, something must have gone wrong during the installation

Interesting. I've already tried deleting, redownloading and reextracting the current version so I'll wait for the update.
check if in this path you have created the.ini file of the kart you are using.
the path is the following, where you installed AssettoCorsa:
steamapps \ common \ assettocorsa \ apps \ python \ Sidekick \ compounds

the.ini file it needs to generate is like this: honda_900_4T_naked_kart.ini

if it does not generate this file, it will not be able to read the kart data.
if so, try reinstalling the Sidekick app as well

hey @Denny370 - this is such a fun thing to drive! Thanks for the serious upgrade to the stereo version.
I'm still getting FFB issues with 1.1, it's like 10,000% aggressive. Using ffbclip I have to turn the master down to 2 or 3% to get similar road-feel to most other cars, but then I can't really get enough/any curb or slip etc.
Is there any .ini editing I could look at to tame this hardcore ffb? This kart is the most fun i've had in AC for ages, i'd love to get the ffb tuned in!

I am sending you the file.acd for "honda_900_4T_naked_kart"
overwrite what you have (backup the old.acd file) and overwrite with this new one.
Do the tests if your FFB has improved and then write me your feelings, that if it is solved I will update all of them. Thank you

Thanks so much for the file @Denny370 - it is much better!
The ffb is still pretty intense, but it feels much more in line with the level of output for other vehicles.
Thanks again!
