Lack of Single Player Multi-Class Racing

Really enjoying the Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 Pack. However the omission of multi-class single player racing is a frustrating one. Everyone’s thoughts?

I agree. I would love multi-class in single player. I hope they will put the time and effort to implement this in the near future.

And if Kunos wants to push online only I'm not going to follow, so...

(The addition of the GT4 European Series to the custom championship mode is nice but with exception of the session save/resume feature there haven't really been any substantial improvements to the custom championship and career modes since Early Access, still as bare bones as it was. Allowing custom grids offline as they do online would improve the longevity of the sim.)

If they are planning to recreate the British GT in some form they surely have to include Multi-Class Racing as it wouldn't be accurate.

The British GT pack will be a track pack, nothing else.

I fear this will be a long, long time coming if at all, Kunos aren`t great with A.I, they haven`t updated the current A.I in a long time, ATM all they do is run nose to tail like a train and don`t over take. I remember they had problems with mult-class racing in AC were the faster class woudn`t overtake the slower class even on the straights.

To my experience it is not true that this happens all the time with the AI in ACC. I've primarily experienced AI being much smarter about overtaking in ACC than AC1, having far less of an issue overtaking slower cars. They even finally figured out how to overtake when having to come to a halt behind a stopped car when previously in AC1 they'd completely stop and eventually get DNF teleported to the pits within seconds.

I'm sure there are still plenty of edge cases that do make the AI look bad, sure, but I really don't see how this would pose such an issue. Just give us the freedom, like AC1.

As it stands now the content in ACC is good and I much prefer the driving to AC1 but I don't see myself doing races with the same grids over and over. And I prefer doing races on my own terms over online races -- just too bad ACC is sometimes so restrictive offline.

Also, yes, the "British GT" DLC isn't a British GT DLC but a three-circuit pack. Which makes me wonder whether I can even drive on them offline, since the selection is season-dependent.

Aggressiveness is the key. Set it to 95+.
